NEWARK, Del. – The No. 6/6 University of Delaware football team continues its two-game homestand as the Blue Hens welcome longtime CAA rival Towson to Delaware Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. The game, which is part of Delaware's Parents and Family Weekend and is officially sold out, will be broadcast on NBC Sports Philadelphia Plus and FloFootball.

About the Blue Hens
- Delaware moved to 4-0 on the season and 2-0 in the CAA with a dominant 35-3 win over Hampton last weekend. With the four-straight wins to open the season, the Blue Hens have risen to No. 6 in both the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 and the AFCA Coaches Poll.
- Against the Pirates, Nolan Henderson set career highs for the second-consecutive game, completing 30 passes for five touchdowns. He finished with 296 passing yards and connected with 12 different receivers. Thyrick Pitts became the ninth Blue Hen to surpass 2,000 career receiving yards as he hauled in seven catches for 61 yards and three touchdowns.
- The UD defense allowed just one field goal against Hampton, marking the third time in four games this season that UD has held an opponent under 10 points. The Blue Hens held the Pirates to just eight first downs, including one in the first half, and 156 total yards of offense while forcing them to go 0-for-12 on third down conversions.
- This Saturday, Delaware is one of more than 100 college football programs partnering with the Hilinski's Hope Foundation as part of College Football Mental Health Week. On Saturday, prior to the start of the third quarter, members of the Delaware football program will lift three fingers in remembrance of Tyler Hilinski and all those who have been lost to mental illness.
Scouting Towson
- Towson enters Saturday's contest with a 2-2 overall record and an 0-1 mark in CAA play. The Tigers opened the season with wins over Bucknell (14-13 OT) and Morgan State (29-21), but have fallen to West Virginia (65-7) and New Hampshire (37-14) over the past two weeks.
- Through the first four games, the Tigers are averaging 16.0 ppg and 296.8 ypg of total offense, while the defense is allowing opponents to score 34.0 ppg and accumulate 399.5 ypg.
- Quarterback Tyrrell Pigrome has completed 56-of-103 passes for 553 yards and four touchdowns. He is also second on the team with 44.3 rushing yards per game. Devin Mathews is averaging 61.3 yards on the ground to lead Towson while finding the end zone three times. Da'Kendall James leads the receiving corps with 18 catches for 181 yards, while Darian Street has two touchdown receptions.
- D'Ago Hunter is a big threat on special teams, averaging nearly 23 yards on 13 kickoff returns, including a 96-yard return for a touchdown at West Virginia.
- The defense is led by Ryan Kearney and Mason Woods, who have 20 and 18 tackles, respectively. Woods also has Towson's lone interception on the season and one of the squad's three sacks.

The Blue Hens will head out on the road for another tough CAA matchup when the team takes on William & Mary on Saturday, October 8. Kickoff in Williamsburg, Virginia is set for 3:30 p.m.
