Delaware Student-Athletes Post Best Semester in the Classroom

NEWARK, Del. – Delaware student-athletes posted their best semester in the classroom during the fall of 2022 with a 3.282 cumulative GPA, the department announced Wednesday. This was the 18th-consecutive semester which the Blue Hens have posted a cumulative semester GPA at 3.000 or higher.
A total of 208 Blue Hens landed on the Dean's List which is 35-percent of the student-athlete population and would be higher if graduate students were eligible. In addition, 44 registered a perfect 4.0 semester.
In total, eight teams finished with a 3.500 GPA or better, led by women's golf at 3.586 and men's tennis at 3.555. Rowing (3.523), women's lacrosse (3.521), women's tennis (3.508), field hockey (3.507), cross country (3.503), and women's swimming (3.503) round out that cohort.
