Wilkinson Shines as Men’s Tennis Stumbles at Penn State

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Despite a No. 1 singles win from James Wilkinson, Delaware men's tennis fell at Penn State on Sunday afternoon, 6-1.
"We battled hard, but in the end we came up a little short," Director of Tennis Pablo Montana said. "I'm proud of our guys for fighting until the end, and a few points here and there and we win this match. Kudos to James for playing an outstanding match at number one and we will use this match and learn from it as we prepare for Villanova next week."
Outside of Wilkinson's impressive win, no other Blue Hen came out victorious as the Nittany Lions claimed the remaining singles points and snagged the doubles point.
