Selling, Servas Receive CAA Weekly Honors

NEWARK, Del. - Mira Selling and Julia Servas of the Delaware women's swimming & diving program both received CAA weekly honors following their performances against Seton Hall on Saturday to help the Blue Hens to a victory.Â
Selling captured three individual events and two relays on her way to being named CAA Swimmer of the Week. She took first place in the 50 free (23.61), 100 free (50.64), and 500 free (4:58.90) with times that were the fastest in the conference over the weekend. She was also part of the Blue Hens' first-place teams in the 200 medley relay (1:47.06) and 400 free relay (3:28.95). This is Selling's third CAA weekly honor of the season, having also been named Swimmer of the Week on Oct. 11 and Nov. 22.Â
Servas was named CAA Diver of the Week after she took first place on both boards. She won the 1-meter competition with a score of 285.83 and claimed the top spot in the 3-meter competition with a score of 273.68. Servas has now been named Diver of the Week in back-to-back weeks.
Delaware will next compete on Jan. 28 against Towson, and will celebrate Senior Day prior to the meet.Â
