- "Really proud of the response from our team. We continue to be tough to deal with on the road," head coach Kelly Lawrence said. "In terms of the game, we had the bulk of possession but they scored against the run of play. Our response though was immediate. Details were taken care of and that led to a great set piece goal. I couldn't be prouder of the character of our group. They never give up and work tirelessly for each other. We will be able to get some rest in this week and then set our sights on taking care of business next Sunday."
- "I thought our response was great after being down and then immediately we were able to work together to find the back of the net almost right away," Mia Reed said. "Super happy to walk away and return home with four points."
- The Blue Hens had seven shots, including three shots on goal.
- Izzy Lane and Caitlin St. Leger each had two shots on the day.
- Kyla Burns started and played all 90 minutes of Thursday's contest. She racked up six saves and allowed one goal. She now has 44 saves on the season, including 31 saves over her last five starts.
- After the Camels scored the game's first goal with the 17th minute, the Blue Hens responded with a goal of their own in the 19th minute from Bell. After the ball was bounced around off a corner kick, Bell struck a beautiful ball to the top right corner of the net past the diving goalkeeper.
- Both teams had opportunities to score late in the second half. St Leger had that went off target with less than 10 minutes to go, and the Camels had a shot saved by Burns with seconds left.
- The Blue Hens defense and goalkeeping have allowed one goal in 336 minutes of game time, dating back to the 24th minute in last Thursday's contest against Northeastern.
- Sunday's contest was the first ever matchup between Delaware and Campbell.
- The Blue Hens return to action next Sunday, Oct. 15 against Hofstra on the road.
