Men's Swimming & Diving Wraps Up Day One of West Virginia Invitational

MORGANTOWN, W. VA. – The Delaware men's swimming & diving team completed day one of the West Virginia Invitational on Thursday, Nov. 16.
At the end of day one, the Blue Hens are in third with 129 points.

The Blue Hens placed in the top 10 in the following prelims:
- Kaloyan Levterov finish fourth in the 500-yard freestyle finals (4:29.39).
- Matvei Namakonov finished fourth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.34 seconds.
- The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Miguel Vasquez, Toni Sabev, Addison Collins, and Namakonov finished fifth (1:22,02). A second 200-yard freestyle team of Luke Rautzhan, Gavin Currie, Simeon Sabev, and Levterov finished 10th (1:23.60).
- Two 400-yard medley relay teams finished in the top 10. Currie, Toni Sabev, Simeon Sabev, and Vasquez finished fourth with a time of 3:14.26. Levterov, Namakonv, jack Hattery and Collins finished eighth at 3:19.20
