Women's Swimming & Diving Completes Day One of West Virginia Invitational

MORGANTOWN, W. VA. – The Delaware women's swimming & diving team completed day one of the West Virginia Invitational on Thursday, Nov. 16.
At the end of day one, the Blue Hens sit in fifth points with 120 points.
RESULTS
The Blue Hens placed in the top 10 in the following:
- Lauren Hartel finished second in the 500-yard freestyle finals at 4:51.79.
- The Blue Hens 200 yard freestyle relay team of Anthi Lyra, Nicole Chiappa, Aslinn Mitchell and Olivia Williemsen finished in fourth (1:32.72).
- Their 400-yard medley relay team of Erin Shema, Mania Tasakou, Mitchell, and Willemsen finished fourth (3.42.96).
- Shema would finish seventh at 2:02.65, and Mitchell finished in 10th at 2:03.97 in the 200-yard IM.
