Women's Swimming & Diving Program Earns Top Five Placement at West Virginia Invitational

MORGANTOWN, W. VA. – The Delaware women's swimming & diving program earned a top five placement on the third and final day of the West Virginia Invitational.
The Blue Hens finished in fifth place with 857 points. They finished ahead of Coastal Athletic Association foes William & Mary (sixth place) and Drexel (ninth place).
West Virginia was won the invitational with 1076 points.

- Mania Tasakou was fifth in the 200 breaststroke (2:17.28).
- Aislinn Mitchell was 10th in the 200 butterfly (2:04.09).
- The 400 freestyle relay of Erin Shema, Anthi Lyra, Aislinn Mitchell and Nicole Chiappa finished sixth with a time of 3:25.50.
- The Blue Hens return to the Harry W. Rawstorm Natatorium in the Carpenter Sports Building for a dual meet against West Chester on Friday, Dec. 1 at 5 p.m.
