Men's Soccer Season Concludes Against Hofstra In CAA Semifinals

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y - The University of Delaware men's soccer program's season comes to a close with a loss to Hofstra in the Coastal Athletic Association semifinals by a score of 4-1 on Sunday.

With the loss, the Blue Hens season concludes with a 9-4-5 overall record.

- Justin Ruth, T.J. Hastings and Orri Thorhallsson each contributed shots for the Blue Hens.
- Adam Vik started and played the full 90 minutes in net. He had three saves on the day.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pride got things going with a goal in the in the 16th minute. They added two additional first half goals in the 29th and 45th minute.
- The Blue Hens added a goal late in the second half from Thorhallsson.
GAME NOTES
- Sunday's match was the 39th all time meeting between the Blue Hens and Pride. The Pride now lead the series 24-13-2.
