Siegfried, Pastris earn CAA Diver of the Week Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Delaware men's diver Kevin Siegfried and women's diver Alex Pastris both received the Coastal Athletic Association's diver of the week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Both Siegfried and Pastris earned top two finishes in last Friday's dual meet win over West Chester. For Siegfried, this is his first diver of the week honor this season. And for Pastris, this will be her second of the season.
Siegfried captured a first-place finish in the 1-meter competition with a score of 272.25 and turned in a second-place effort on the 3-meter board with a score of 272.85.
As for Pastris, she took him the first-place finish in the 3-meter dive with a final score of 293.75, earning her an NCAA zone cut in the process. She also placed second in the 1-meter dive with a final score of 269.70.

With the 2023 calendar year concluded for the Blue Hens, they have their eyes set for 2024 as their first dual meet of the new year is against Drexel on Saturday, Jan.6 starting at noon in the Harry W. Rawstorm Natatorium in the Carpenter Sports Building. The Blue Hens will also celebrate senior day as well.
