WILMINGTON, Del. – Delaware women's tennis (3-2) picked up a convincing 7-0 victory Friday afternoon, blanking Villanova (1-3).

"We played well today starting with doubles," Director of Tennis Pablo Montana said. "We had a great week of preparation and executed what we worked on. We will use this confidence as we prepare for NJIT on Saturday."

The Blue Hens went 1-2-3 in doubles competition with three wins. In dominant fashion, UD picked up six straight-set victories in singles action.
