Men’s Tennis Wins Fifth Straight With 6-1 Beatdown of Boston U.

CUMBERLAND, R.I. – Delaware men's tennis (6-1) picked up its fifth-straight win Saturday with a 6-1 beatdown of Boston University (6-5).

"What a great team effort today," Assistant Coach Nate Perrone said. "We played a well-coached team in Boston University. They had incredible determination and energy from every player. I'm proud of the way our men went out there and got a statement win."

After third and second doubles slots split decisions, the Hens' top flight of James Wilkinson and William Wibmer battled to a point deciding win.

Four straight-set victories led UD in singles action, while Luis Molina rallied from a middle set loss to pick up another point for the Blue & Gold.

Delaware returns to action on Sunday with a matchup against Bryant.
