Tasakou Earns CAA Swimmer of the Week Honors

NEWARK, Del. - Mania Tasakou of the Delaware women's swimming and diving team was named CAA Swimmer of the Week after her performance at the Blue Hen Invite, as announced by the conference on Feb. 7, 2023.Â
Tasakou set a new UD pool record in the 100 breast with a winning time of 1:02.24, the fastest in the CAA this season in the event. Tasakou also finished in first place in the 200 IM with a time of 2:06.14. This is Tasakou's first CAA weekly honor this season.Â
Delaware will next compete at the CAA Championships from Feb. 22-Feb. 25 in Hampton, Va.Â
