Men's And Women's Swimming & Diving Receive CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Honors

2022-23 Fall Scholar All-America Teams Announced

RICHMOND, Va. - The Delaware men's and women's swimming & diving program were selected to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2022 semester, as announced by The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). The squads were two of 803 teams from 479 institutions selected. Teams were received the honor on the basis of their Fall 2022 team grade point averages and represent 19,426 student-athletes.

The women finished the semester with a GPA of 3.50, while the men had a GPA of 3.13. On the women's side, Jordynn Park, Peyton Rautzhan, Alexandra Misikova, Erin Shema, Cristin Earley, Natalie Dobrzykowski, and Kaitlyn Sullivan all finished the semester with GPAs of 4.0. For the men, Dylan Smolders, Evan Ciecko, Simeon Sabev, and Gavin Currie recorded 4.0 GPAs in the fall. Both programs have been named to the Scholar All-American team in seven of the nine semesters head coach Pablo Marmolejo has been at the helm, while the women have honored in all nine semesters Marmolejo has been the head coach.
