Women’s Tennis Bullies Hofstra for Ninth-Straight Win

OCEANSIDE, N.Y. – Delaware women's tennis (10-2, 2-0 CAA) bullied the Hofstra Pride (1-5, 0-1 CAA) to a 7-0 decision for the Blue Hens' ninth-consecutive win and second conference victory of the season.
"Today was a complete team effort," Assistant Coach Lucy Harper said. "Credit to each girl on all six singles courts for going out and taking care of business. We played with great energy and retained focus throughout. We will now turn our attention to tomorrow's battle with George Washington."
The Hens rolled to a quick doubles point, seeing all three pairs hold its opponents to no more than two points.
Singles action saw similar results with UD picking up straight-set victories in all six flights.
The Blue Hens return to the First State for a Sunday afternoon match again George Washington at 3 p.m.
