Delaware Athletics Announces Annual Fandemonium Community Event

NEWARK, Del. – Delaware Athletics is pleased to announce its annual Fandemonium community event will be held on Saturday, April 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Delaware Athletics Complex.
Delaware fans of all ages are invited to come out and enjoy an action-packed day with Blue Hens Athletics, Community & Campus Recreation including a full day of free entertainment and to root on the Blue Hens on-field. The fan zone will feature numerous family-fun activities including free games, rides, inflatable interactives for all ages, music, food, giveaways, and more. UDairy will be on site, along with autograph opportunities from Delaware student-athletes and mascots.
Both Delaware men's lacrosse and softball will be in action for the event with the former hosting Drexel at noon for Military Appreciation Day. Free tickets will be available for active duty, retired, or veteran military personnel. The first 250 fans in attendance at the game will receive a Blue Hens Service Appreciation t-shirt. The defending CAA regular season champion softball team will compete in a CAA showdown at the Delaware Diamond vs. Towson on Military Appreciation Day. Admission is FREE to all Delaware Softball events. A special Delaware Softball military appreciation t-shirt will be available for select fans day of the game!
