Men’s Basketball Adds UC Riverside Transfer Kobe Jerome

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware men's basketball has added UC Riverside transfer Kobe Jerome, head coach Martin Ingelsby announced Saturday. Jerome comes to Newark with multiple years of eligibility remaining.
"Kobe Jerome is a terrific fit and addition to our basketball program," Ingelsby said. "He's a highly skilled guard with elite shot making ability and has a great all-around feel for the game. He is a hard worker who is ready to compete every day and always does it with great energy and attitude."
The 6-4 guard spent the previous two seasons at UC Riverside. Red-shirting his freshman season, Jerome appeared in three games during the 2022-23 campaign in which he tallied seven minutes of action.
Hailing from Harlem, N.Y., Jerome spent his high school days at Blue Ridge School in St. George, Virginia. He was a three-time Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II state champion with the Barons.
He is the younger brother of Ty Jerome, who was a national champion at the University of Virginia and current member of the NBA's Golden State Warriors.
