PHILADELPHIA - The University of Delaware women's soccer program defeated La Salle 2-1 on Thursday.
COACHES QUOTE
- "It's not easy to win games on the road and certainly not easy to win at LaSalle," head coach Kelly Lawrence said. "We have good depth in the squad and so a lot of players got opportunities tonight and produced good performances. Every game is an opportunity to see what we're made of. We faced significant adversity tonight. Weathered the storm and at times bent but we didn't break. Super proud of all 30 players tonight."
- "I'm really proud of the team for battling against one of the most physical opponents we've played so far" Grace Harvey said. "It was a great opportunity to test our grit early in the season. Our two goals coming from a defender & first year testify to the group effort that was required for the win."
