Dates & Locations Set for Blue Hens Radio Coaches Show

NEWARK, Del. – The weekly Blue Hens Radio Coaches Show will continue this fall as Delaware Football Head Coach Ryan Carty and "Voice of the Blue Hens" Scott Klatzkin will sit down each Wednesday night from 7-8 p.m. throughout the season. The first show will be on Wednesday, September 6 following Delaware's game at Stony Brook and leading into the squad's week two matchup at Penn State.
Just as in the past, each one-hour show is open to all fans and can also be heard on 94.7 WDSD-FM and the iHeartRadio app where the audio will also be available for podcast download. The location of each show will either be in The Dawson Room on the second floor of Klondike Kate's or at La Casa Pasta, an award-winning restaurant located in Newark since 1978.
Last year, The Martuscelli Restaurant Group, including Klondike Kate's Restaurant & Saloon and La Casa Pasta Restaurant, announced a commitment to extend its partnership with University of Delaware Athletics and iHeartMedia to host Blue Hens radio coaches shows through the 2024-25 season.
The Blue Hens open the 2023 season on Thursday, August 31 with a CAA road matchup at Stony Brook. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Delaware will play its home opener on Saturday, September 16 against Saint Francis at Delaware Stadium. Season ticket memberships, flexible partial plans and individual game tickets for all six of UD's home games are on sale now.
