Men’s Tennis Wraps up First Fall Weekend at Penn Invitational

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Delaware men's tennis team wrapped up its first weekend of fall competition at the Penn Invitational on Sunday with competition on both days over the weekend. Sunday's play was cut short due to weather.

ON THE RECORD
"This was a very good weekend of competition for us," head coach Marc Pibernat said. "We battled three consecutive days against top teams and we were able to take it to them every time. We had a tough match vs. Penn on Friday, we raised the bar and took down Dartmouth on Saturday, and we were having an absolute battle against St. John's on Sunday. The team kept getting better throughout the weekend and we have set the bar to a new standard which was huge for us."

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Tobey Lock and Euan Mackenzie picked up a pair of wins in doubles competition.
Lock, Mackenzie, Karol Malirz, and Javier Ruiz snagged singles wins.
