Men’s Tennis Rolls Past Georgetown in Hidden Dual

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's tennis team rolled past Georgetown Friday afternoon with a 4-3 dual match score and 10-4 overall score.

ON THE RECORD
"Another outstanding match for us and another big win against a very good team," head coach Marc Pibernat said. "The main goal of this match was to see if the team would be able to compete with the same standards we did last weekend. We not only did that, but we again raised the bar to a higher level in taking down Georgetown the way we did. The team is just getting better day by day and we are so excited to see where this will take us in the long run."

"A huge shootout to Tobey Lock who has been such an important player for this team. He clinched it against Dartmouth last weekend and clinched it again today vs Georgetown. The Hens will rest up this weekend and we will go back to work on Monday to start preparing for ITA Regionals."

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Tobey Lock and Euan Mackenzie tallied a doubles win together and then each picked up a singles point.
Alexandre Gluck followed suit and picked up a pair of wins.
Mason Robins tallied his first career victory in both doubles and singles.
