Women's Soccer Picked Up Conference Point With Tie Against Drexel

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Delaware women's soccer program picked up another point in Coastal Athletic Association play with a 1-1 tie against Drexel on Sunday.
With the tie, the Blue Hens overall record is 3-3-4, 0-1-3 in conference play.

"Another hard fought battle on the road to earn a point. We are seeing lots of individual and team growth from game to game leading us to play some of our best soccer yet," assistant caoch Liisi Vink-Lainas said. "Excited to continue to build and come back out at home on Thursday."

HEN HIGHLIGHTS
- Offensively, the Blue Hens had three shots on the day, and two shots on goal.
- Mia Reed and Kyla Burns split time in net. Burns started the game, and had one save. Reed played between the pipes for the second half. She had two saves, and allowed one goal.
- After a scoreless first half, Morgan Tilley broke the 0-0 tie with a goal in the 58th minute. She received a cross from Raychel Speicher, and had a wide-open net.
- For Tilley, it was her first goal of the season, and the first assist of the season for Speicher.
- The Dragons would have the equalizing goal in the 75th minute of the second half.
- Constanze Viehmann, and Carly Binn were the two Blue Hens to play all 90 minutes in Sunday's contest.
- Tilley's goal made her the ninth Blue Hen to score a goal this season.
- Speicher is one of four players, along with Lea Panagiotidis, Kristin Wolf, and Izzy Lane to have a goal and an assist on the season.
- On the day, 22 Blue Hens received playing time, including 21 who recorded at least 10 or more minutes of game action. This is the third game in a row where the Blue Hens played at least 20 players.
- Thursday was the 27th all-time meeting between the Blue Hens and Dragons. The Blue Hens boast a 16-5-6 all-time record against Drexel
