Siekanowicz Finishes Fall at ITA Sectionals

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The University of Delaware men's tennis freshman Piotr Siekanowicz has officially closed out his stellar rookie fall at the ITA Men's Sectionals this past weekend. He earned a place in the draw after leading a successful semester with the Hens as he picked up a singles record of 7-2 across tournaments and hidden duals.

The Polish freshman wasted no time getting acclimated to the American collegiate landscape for tennis. He earned a spot at the ITF M15 Ann Arbor tournament and was the highest ranked Blue Hen at the ITA Northeast Regionals. His accolades lead him to a coveted spot in this weekend's draw.

As Siekanowicz heads into spring conference play, he is most definitely a rookie to watch in both the singles and doubles competition.
