LYNCHBURG, Va. – Down to the final set in a tiebreaker, the University of Delaware women's tennis team fell narrowly 4-3 at Liberty on Saturday.
ON THE RECORD
"This one hurts a little bit," Director of Tennis/Head Women's Tennis Coach Pablo Montana said. "We started out great in doubles and came out firing taking a big doubles point. In singles we had great energy on all six courts and it was a battle till the end. We won a big match at #4 with Maryia and a big one at #5 with Alex. In the end we came up a little short. We will learn from this and bounce back tomorrow vs. Virginia Tech."
