2/17/2024 6:49:00 PM | Women's Tennis
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The University of Delaware women's tennis team rolled into State College on Saturday and defeated Penn State, 4-2.
ON THE RECORD
"Huge win for the program," Director of Tennis/Head Women's Tennis Coach Pablo Montana said. "This was a total team effort from 1-6. I'm so happy for these girls for pouring their hearts out and leaving nothing on the courts today. It started out in doubles with great comebacks on one and three. They stuck to their game plans and never hesitated. In singles we came out firing and Slade picked up a huge win at #1 giving everyone belief and confidence on their courts. Alina came out striking and played to win from game one. Alex was on a mission today and she was locked in from the get-go. We will use this momentum and continue to gain confidence as we run to the roar this season."
