WILMINGTON, Del. – The University of Delaware women's tennis team split its weekend matches with a Saturday loss to Cornell 4-1 and a Sunday win over Georgetown 6-1. The Hens move to 10-5 overall, while Cornell goes to 5-8, and Georgetown drops to 4-9.

ON THE RECORD
"That was a good match for us to win against a good Georgetown team," Director of Tennis/Head Women's Tennis Coach Pablo Montana said. "I am proud of the team for how it bounced back today after a tough match yesterday. They showed great resilience and they played with purpose and intention. We still have a lot of work to do to get the level we know we can play at, and we will continue to work hard and experiment as we prepare for Hofstra on Wednesday."

Maryia Hrynashka snagged a pair of singles wins, both in straight sets.
Four of UD's five singles wins over Georgetown came in straight sets.
