Women’s Tennis Defeats Reigning DII National Champion and No. 1 Barry, 4-3

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – University of Delaware women's tennis defeated the reigning DII National Champion and current No. 1 Barry on Sunday, 4-3, to begin the team's two-match stretch in Miami. With their fifth-straight win, the Blue Hens move to 14-5 overall, while Barry sits at 10-2.
ON THE RECORD
"That was a fun win today against the number one team in the nation in division two," Director of Tennis/Head Women's Tennis Coach Pablo Montana said. "It's no surprise why this team has won so many national championships as they battled us until the very last match. Kudos to our players for stepping up and playing to win without holding back. We will use this confidence as we prepare for FIU tomorrow."
