MIAMI, Fla. – The University of Delaware women's tennis team concluded its spring break trip with a 5-2 setback at No. 25 FIU on Monday. The Blue Hens drop to 14-6, while the Panthers improve to 13-2.
ON THE RECORD
"We definitely had our chances today and we had them in the doubles," Director of Tennis/Head Women's Tennis Coach Pablo Montana said. "In singles, we immediately bounced back and took the first set on courts 4, 5, and 6 and we had some great momentum throughout the day. Congrats to Eliza and Alex for pulling out. Some big wins today in singles. I feel very encouraged with how the team is performing right now and we are peaking at the right time. We will learn from this and work on some things in practice as we prepare for NJIT."
