Seven Blue Hens Earn CSCAA Scholar All-American Honors

RICHMOND, Va. - Seven athlete's on the Delaware men's and women's swimming & diving program received CSCAA Scholar All-American honors, the organization announced on July 8.
Among the seven athletes are Gavin Currie, Toni Sabev, Matvei Namakonov, Julia Servas, Alex Pastris, Kevin Siegfried and Mania Tasakou.
This is Sabev's third time being named to the CSCAA Scholar All-American team, after receiving the honors in 2023 and 2022. For Currie, it's his second straight year receiving the honor. For Namokonov, Pastris, Servas, Siegfried and Tasakou it's their first.
The seven are among over 2,000 swimmers and divers to its Scholar All-American Team for the 2023-24 season.
To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-Team selections, must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a "B" time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
