9/5/2024 9:00:00 PM | Women's Soccer
NEWARK, Del. -Â Paige Kenton recorded her second goal of the season as the University of Delaware women's soccer program tied Penn 1-1 on Thursday at Grant Stadium.
Â
The Blue Hens are now 1-4-2 on the season.
ON THE RECORD
"It was great to finish on a set piece today. We've been working hard on the details, and it definitely showed. Gabby (Riley) served a great ball to the back post off of the corner. It was super fun to get that goal and celebrate with the whole team," Kenton said.
"We played some fantastic football tonight and dominated the game. It was disappointing to not come away from the game with three points, head coach Kelly Lawrence said. "You don't get what you don't deserve but we were disappointed for the team to not get the rewards of such a good performance. We will continue to work towards putting 90 minute performances together as we finish off non conference play."
