Field Hockey's Merashoff Wins MPSF Defensive Player of the Week

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - University of Delaware field hockey goalie Kristi Merashoff picked up her fourth Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Defensive Player of the Week laurel of the season for her performance in a hard-fought contest against Old Dominion, the conference announced Tuesday.
Merashoff saved seven shots, including multiple second-effort saves in the overtime game.
The seven stops tie for the graduate student's second most in a game on the season.
