Football Travels to Liberty for First-Ever Meeting on CBS Sports Network

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware football team will travel to Liberty on Saturday, November 1 at 3:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network for the first-ever meeting between the two schools. It is the second appearance of the season for the Fightin' Blue Hens on CBS Sports Network.

ABOUT THE HENS
- Delaware enters the contest 4-3, 2-2 CUSA, following a 31-28 home win over Middle Tennessee.
- QB Nick Minicucci leads the team with 2,070 passing yards and 13 touchdown passes, while rushing for a team-best seven touchdowns to rank first in CUSA and tied for the 13th-most nationally at the position. The signal caller also ranks first in CUSA and eighth nationally with 295.7 passing yards per contest. He also leads the league and ranks seventh in the nation in total offense with 315.6 yards per game.
- RB Jo Silver, a preseason Doak Walker Award Candidate, leads UD's rushing attack with 426 rushing yards on the season to go with three rushing touchdowns. Silver averages 60.9 rushing yards per game, good for eighth-best in CUSA.
- WR Kyre Duplessis, who is second in CUSA and 58th nationally in receiving yards per game (69.0), paces the Hens with 34 receptions, 483 yards, and four receiving touchdowns.
- LB Gavin Moul leads the Hens, sits t-56th nationally, and fourth in CUSA with 63 tackles. His 9.0 tackles per game ranks t-24th in the nation.
- The Blue & Gold lead the conference in total offense (419.7), passing offense (299.4), touchdowns per game (3.71), first downs per game (24.9), third down conversion rate (48.5%), and average punt return yards (17.8).
ABOUT THE FLAMES
- The Flames enter the contest 3-4, 2-1 CUSA, coming off a 30-27 win over New Mexico State.
- Liberty is led by head coach Jamey Chadwell, who owns a 122-66 career record and 24-9 record in four seasons at the helm of the Flames.
- Liberty's offense is led by QB Ethan Vasko, who has 1,185 passing yards and six touchdowns on the season. His 197.5 passing yards per game ranks sixth in Conference USA.
- The Flames are led on the ground by RB Evan Dickens, who has 394 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the campaign. His 65.7 rushing yards per game ranks fourth in Conference USA.
- WR Donte Lee Jr. is the team's leading receiver with 344 yards and three touchdowns.
- On defense, LB Joseph Carter has 53 tackles on the year to lead the team.
