Softball Announces Schedule Updates

NEWARK, Del. - University of Delaware softball has announced changes and additions to their 2025 schedule.
With five games having been canceled last week due to inclement weather, Delaware has added an additional game against Quinnipiac during the Blue Hen Invitational next week on March 2 at 12:30 p.m. The Blue Hens will also play a doubleheader against Rider on March 18 starting at 2:00.Â
Updates have also been made to UD's schedule for this weekend at the Mizuno Classic at Palmer Park in Charlottesville, Va., hosted by University of Virginia. On Saturday, Delaware will now play Virginia at 1:30 and Penn at 4:00. On Sunday, UD will play Penn at 11:00 and Virginia at 4:00. It will wrap up with Longwood on Monday at noon.Â
Delaware was originally supposed to play Virginia and Longwood on February 20, UConn and Virginia on Feb. 21, and Penn on Feb. 22.Â

Delaware Softball will celebrate its 50th season as a program during the 2025 season, as presented by Delaware State Parks. Season and single game tickets for the 2025 season are on sale now. The upcoming season will feature cutting-edge renovations, including a state-of-the-art Daktronics videoboard, turf playing surface, LED lighting, and more. Season tickets are now 50% off the single-game rate—just $94 for access to the entire season with general admission seating.
