Graeber, Lesher Receive CAA Preseason Accolades

RICHMOND, Va. - Outfielder Aaron Graeber and infielder Brett Lesher from the University of Delaware baseball team were named to the Coastal Athletic Association's (CAA) Preseason Team, the league announced on Wednesday.
Graeber made a big impact for the Blue Hens in 2024. He led the squad in batting average (.312) and hits (62). He hit 14 home runs, drove in 52 runs, 13 doubles, two triples, 31 walks. During the season, he had 18 multi-hit games, including a four hit game against North Carolina A&T on April 19, 2024. He also had a 16 game hit streak during the season from April 19 through May 16. He received second team All-CAA honors in the spring.Â
Lesher had a breakout year with UD and set new career highs in several categories in 2024, including batting average (.296), hits (53), doubles (10), home runs (seven), and RBI's (43). He was named an All-CAA Honorable Mention last spring.Â
In the CAA Preseason Poll, the Blue Hens were picked to finish fifth.
