NEWARK, Del. - The University of Delaware men's tennis team started its Thursday morning off in a productive way as it shut down Rider, 7-0.

ON THE RECORD
"This was an absolute battle despite being 7-0 in the overall score," head coach Marc Pibernat said. "We didn't deliver our best tennis, but the team did very good adapting and digging out the matches. Tomorrow, we have a big match versus Drexel, and we are going to have to bring the best out of us to find the victory."

All six singles matches swept earning the Hens their final six points.
Duos Karol Malirz & Mason Robins and Alexandre Gluck & James Sclater clinched the doubles point for the Hens allowing them the edge entering singles play.
