NEWARK, Del. - The University of Delaware women's soccer program celebrated senior day and earned a 0-0 draw against Drexel on Sunday at Grant Stadium.

With the tie, the Fightin' Blue Hens overall record improves to 6-0-2.

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Maggie Groh led the Blue Hens offense with three shots. She was the lone Blue Hen with multiple shots.
Sophia Hall started in net and collected three saves.
Hall, and Gabby Riley played all 90 minutes.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Blue Hens held a slight 5-4 shot advantage in the first half.
UD's best chance of the day came with less than five minutes to go. Riley's corner kick flew into a scrummage of players and found Lilli Lubic. Her header went off the crossbar and the Dragons were able to fend off the Blue Hens attack.

GAME NOTES

UD celebrated senior day and honored Olivia Hoover, Ryan Mundy, Leilah Sallee, and Constanze Viehmann.
The Blue Hens 6-0-2 record is the best start to a regular season since 2000.
Hall has started in all eight of the Blue Hens games and has played in every minute and earned her fourth shutout.

UP NEXT
The Blue Hens return home for their third of four straight games at Grant Stadium. They take on William & Mary on Friday, September 12 at 6 p.m.
