Women's Swimming & Diving Defeats Kenyon and Navy at Navy Quad Meet

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – University of Delaware women's swimming & diving defeated Kenyon and Navy in a quad-meet hosted by Navy on Saturday.
The Fightin' Blue Hens took down Kenyon by a score of 204.00-149.00 and beat the Midshipmen 201.00-152.00.
The squad suffered a loss to Princeton 237.00-113.00.
Aleksandra Dimitrova broke the 200-back freshman record for the second time this season with a time of 1:58.49, improving by 1.07 seconds.
RESULTS
The women's team kicked off day two of the event finishing in third in the 200-medley relay. Elishka Hajek, Bri Cottingham, Victoria Novinskiy, and Bella Granetzke touched the wall at 1:42.49.
Novinskiy won two races on the day, swimming the 100-fly in 52.39 and the 200-IM in 1:58.37.
Alex Pastris finished the 1M dive at 254.30, placing fourth.
In the 100-free, Olivia Willemsen swam to a time of 51.10, taking fourth in the event.
Dimitrova placed second in the 200-back, earning the fastest time by a freshman in program history. Behind the Bulgaria native in third, was Angelica Ragazzoni, who swam a 1:59.05.
Cottingham earned a fourth-place finish in the 200-breast at 2:17.29.
The 400-free relay had UD place second, as Willemsen, Hajek, Judy Liu, and Ragazzoni swam 3:22.83.
