Football Adds Coastal Carolina Transfer WR Bryson Graves

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware football has added Coastal Carolina transfer WR Bryson Graves, head coach Ryan Carty announced Sunday. The midyear enrollee comes to Newark with one season of eligibility.
With the Chanticleers, the 5-10, 177-pound wide receiver appeared in 38 games with 13 starts. He totaled 64 receptions for 672 yards and four touchdowns. On special teams, he returned 24 punts for 133 yards with 20 of his returns coming in 2025 with a 9.0 average return. In 2025, he led the team in receptions (35) and receiving yards (330). Graves was teammates at CCU with current Fightin' Blue Hen CB Keontae Jenkins and 2025 All-CUSA WR Kyre Duplessis.
Graves graduated from West Florence High School in 2023 where he was a three-sport athlete playing football, basketball, and baseball. He only played one season of football where he led his team to an 11-2 overall record and a state semifinals appearance. In his lone football season, he registered 40 receptions for over 800 yards and 10 touchdowns. A two-way player, he totaled nine tackles and three PBUs.
On the hardwood, he averaged double figures his final two seasons, while in baseball, he surpassed 90 miles per hour on the mound. He was ranked as the No. 11 outfield prospect in the class of 2023 in the state of South Carolina by Perfect Game. Graves also garnered two Perfect Game Preseason All-American Atlantic Region Honorable Mention honors in 2021 and 2022.
Born in Florence, S.C., he is the son of Sonya and Terry Graves, and has five siblings. He is the nephew of former NFL Saints, Falcons, and Chiefs WR Joe Horn and cousin to Pathers' Pro Bowl CB Jaycee Horn. He intends to major in sport management at UD.
