Football Adds Duke Transfer OL Jack Small

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware has added Duke transfer OL Jack Small, head coach Ryan Carty announced Friday. Small joins the Fightin' Blue Hens as a mid-year enrollee with four seasons of eligibility left.
The 6-8, 310-pound offensive lineman spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons at Duke, playing just three snaps over two games. With the Blue Devils. Small earned ACC Academic Honor Roll and was part of the 2025 ACC championship and 2025 Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl championship teams.
Prior to Duke, the three-star prospect by 247Sports.com, ESPN.com and Rivals.com lettered three seasons at Northern Valley Regional at Old Tappan. He was listed as the No. 13 prospect in the state of New Jersey by 247Sports.com and the No. 60 overall offensive tackle by 247Sports.com. A three-time all-league, two-time all-county, and two-time all-state selection, Small helped Northern Valley Regional to a 27-10 overall record, including a 13-1 mark and a state championship during junior season. A two-way player, he recorded 182 career tackles, 15.0 sacks and one INT. Small also lettered in track & field, focusing on the shot put and discus. He earned first team all-county and all-league (indoor and outdoor) as well as all-state (indoor) honors and was a state group champion in indoor and a sectional champion in outdoor.
The Northvale, N.J. native was born in New York, New York to parents Beth and Michael Small. He has two younger siblings and plans to study business at UD.
