EL PASO, TEXAS - The University of Delaware men's basketball team dropped its rematch with Conference USA opponent UTEP, 70-55 on Saturday evening. The Fightin' Blue Hens dip to 6-15 overall and 2-8 in CUSA play, while the Miners improve to 8-14, 4-7 CUSA.

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Delaware recorded a season-high 27 free throws on a season-high 29 attempts.
Christian Bliss led the Hens with 17 points, including a career-high 11-of-11 from the line.
Tyler Houser recorded his 15th double-digit point game this season with 15 points. He also recorded a career-high 7-of-8 free throws.
Justyn Fernandez tied his career-high seven free throws made on eight attempts.

HOW IT HAPPENED

UD scored the first four points of the game. The Hens kept control for the first 15 minutes of play to take a 20-10 lead with 6:47 on the clock. UTEP then scored 13-unanswered points to take a 23-20 lead with 90 seconds left in the half. The Miners held on to their advantage heading into the locker room with a score of 27-25.
UTEP opened the second half with a 10-0 run and led the remainder of the game.
