Men's Swimming and Diving Leads Kenyon After First Day of Navy Quad Meet

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – University of Delaware men's swimming & diving leads Kenyon College by a score of 124.00, while trailing Navy 130.00-56.00 and Princeton 148.00-38.00 after the first day of the quad-meet, hosted by the Midshipmen.
Freshman Cody Lonsberry swam a season-best in the 1000-free at 9:19.91, capturing a Blue Hen freshman record in the race.
RESULTS
Max Moen placed fifth in the men's 400-IM at 3:55.41, improving 12 seconds on his season-best swim at the Bucknell Invitational. Dylan Smolders placed in sixth at 3:55.87, while Will D'Orazio finished in eighth place at 3:56.99, both also improving on their times set at the midseason meet.
Kade Snyder placed fourth in the 100-back at 47.45.
Matvei Namakonov earned a third place finish in the 50-free, swimming a 19.91. That time is the senior's second fastest of the season.
In the 400-medley relay, Denys Mialkovskyi, Namakonov, Snyder, and Addison Collins swam a 3:12.32. That time gave the quartet a third place finish and was good for the ninth-fastest time in program history.
Finishing out the night in the 1-meter dive, Kevin Siegfried tallied a 257.05. The score was good for sixth place.
