Women's Tennis Defeats FDU for 10th-Straight Home Win

NEWARK, Del. - University of Delaware women's tennis picked up its 10th-straight home victory with a victory over FDU by a score of 5-2. Delaware improves to 3-1, while FDU drops to 0-1.

- UD captured the doubles point, winning all three matches. Emma Akselrod and Hanna Vinahradava won in straight sets in third doubles.
- The duo of Amelia Gorman and Navya Vadlamudi won 7-5 over the Knights' first doubles squad and are now 7-1 on the year.
- Delaware won four-of-six singles matches.
- Akselrod prevailed in a three-set pro-set, 6-4, 2-6, 10-7, and has now gone unbeaten in singles since September 19, winning nine-straight.
