Women's Swimming & Diving in Second Place after Day One of ASUN Championships

ORLANDO, Fla. – University of Delaware women's swimming & diving team picked up four third place finishes on the first day of the 2026 Atlantic Sun Swimming & Diving Championships.
After day one, the Fightin' Blue Hens are in second place with 400 points, holding a sizable gap behind FGCU (419) over the remaining seven teams.

RESULTS
- To open the night, the 200-medley relay of Aleksandra Dimitrova, Bri Cottingham, Victoria Novinskiy, and Elishka Hajek took third place. This earned them a program record by 1.01 seconds.
- Alex Pastris picked up All-ASUN and an NCAA Diving Zone qualifying score, finishing third in the 3-meter dive. The senior scored 283.25 in the finals.
- Elisa Spera continued her torrid freshman season in distance races, picking up a third-place finish in the 500-free at 4:51.57.
- Piper Price grabbed a third-place finish in the 200-IM at 2:02.25.
