Women's Swimming & Diving Wins ASUN Championship

ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Delaware women's swimming & diving team won its first Atlantic Sun (ASUN) Championship Saturday evening during the Fightin' Blue Hens inaugural season in the league. UD finished with a score of 1,627, just ahead of FGCU with 1,619.
This is the team's sixth conference championship in program history and first since the 1997 America East Championship. Head Women's Swimming & Diving Coach Pablo Marmolejo was awarded ASUN Women's Swimming Coach of the Year and senior Angelica Ragazzoni received the Most Outstanding Women's Swimmer of the Meet after winning five races.
