NEWARK, Del. - University of Delaware men's tennis defeated Georgetown 5-2 on Saturday while celebrating Alumni Day.

The Fightin' Blue Hens improve to 6-1 on the season, including 5-0 at home. The Hoyas drop to 1-7.

"What a win today," interim head coach Nathan Perrone said. "We certainly need to play better doubles and change some things up, but I could not be more proud of the way this team fought back and turned it around in singles. I look forward to getting back to work with this group right away"

- Georgetown captured the doubles point, taking two of three before the momentum swayed in UD's favor with five singles wins.
- Tobey Lock dropped his first set before coming back in the final two at 7-5, 6-2, to take the win at No. 1 singles.
- Federico Garbero, Euan Mackenzie, Pere Prat, and James Sclater all only needed two sets to take singles victories.
