NEWARK, Del. - University of Delaware men's tennis defeated Georgetown 5-2 on Saturday while celebrating Alumni Day.

The Fightin' Blue Hens improve to 6-1 on the season, including 5-0 at home. The Hoyas drop to 1-7.

ON THE RECORD
"What a win today," interim head coach Nathan Perrone said. "We certainly need to play better doubles and change some things up, but I could not be more proud of the way this team fought back and turned it around in singles. I look forward to getting back to work with this group right away"

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Georgetown captured the doubles point, taking two of three before the momentum swayed in UD's favor with five singles wins.
Tobey Lock dropped his first set before coming back in the final two at 7-5, 6-2, to take the win at No. 1 singles.
Federico Garbero, Euan Mackenzie, Pere Prat, and James Sclater all only needed two sets to take singles victories.
