NEWARK, Del. - University of Delaware women's tennis swept LIU for its seventh-straight victory by a score of 7-0 at Wilmington Country Club on Sunday.

The Fightin' Blue Hens rise to 10-2, while the Sharks dip to 1-5.

ON THE RECORD
"Great focus overall from the team today," head coach Pablo Montana said. "We knew what we needed to do from the start and stayed locked in from beginning to end. I love the way we are playing doubles right now; the chances we're taking on big points are really separating us from other teams. In singles, it was a total team effort and we are playing with a lot of confidence. We'll continue to build on this as we prepare for Delaware State on Thursday."

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

UD clinched the doubles point for the 12th match in a row, with all three pairs picking up wins.
Amelia Gorman won her match in third singles for her 10th-consecutive singles win.
Gorman and Navya Vadlamudi won their seventh doubles match in a row, moving to 12-1 on the season.
Katie Dollens and Lara Russiniello emerged victorious for their sixth-straight doubles win, improving to 7-1.
Russiniello and Maryia Hrynashka also won their singles matches in straight sets to clinch for the Blue & Gold.
