NEWARK, Del. - University of Delaware men's tennis came out on top in convincing fashion over Richmond 4-1 on Friday morning.

The win pushes the Fightin' Blue Hens to 11-3 on the season, while the Spiders fall to 6-7.

ON THE RECORD
"What a win today," interim head coach Nathan Perrone said. "Also, a great bounce back from a disappointing loss in the match before. We will use this momentum big time to fight hard down in Florida next week."

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Delaware got things rolling picking up the doubles point as the reigning CUSA Doubles Team of the Week in Federico Garbero and Pere Prat broke a 1-1 tie in a tiebreaker of their own to secure the point.
In singles, the Blue & Gold battled back again, with Prat and Garbero sending UD out in front 3-0 in straight sets.
James Sclater picked up match point for the Hens, winning the third set 6-3 after being tied at one set apiece in sixth singles.
