NEWARK, Del. - University of Delaware men's tennis came out on top in convincing fashion over Richmond 4-1 on Friday morning.

The win pushes the Fightin' Blue Hens to 11-3 on the season, while the Spiders fall to 6-7.

"What a win today," interim head coach Nathan Perrone said. "Also, a great bounce back from a disappointing loss in the match before. We will use this momentum big time to fight hard down in Florida next week."

- Delaware got things rolling picking up the doubles point as the reigning CUSA Doubles Team of the Week in Federico Garbero and Pere Prat broke a 1-1 tie in a tiebreaker of their own to secure the point.
- In singles, the Blue & Gold battled back again, with Prat and Garbero sending UD out in front 3-0 in straight sets.
- James Sclater picked up match point for the Hens, winning the third set 6-3 after being tied at one set apiece in sixth singles.
