NEWARK, Del. - University of Delaware men's tennis closed out its home portion of the 2025-26 season by defeating Hofstra by a score of 4-0.

The win pushes the Fightin' Blue Hens to 13-5 on the season, while the Pride drop to 0-14. This was Delaware's seventh-consecutive win over Hofstra, and third match in a row without allowing a point.

This victory marked Delaware's 16th-straight home win and concluded the program's second undefeated home campaign.

ON THE RECORD
"Great bounce back win today," interim head coach Nathan Perrone said. "Happy for our senior captain Euan Mackenzie to clinch the match in his last home match at Delaware. Time to recover and get ready for the next one. Very tough battle coming up on Wednesday at Drexel."

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Delaware collected the doubles point with a win from Federico Garbero/Pere Prat at 6-4 after the Pride defaulted in third doubles.
Tobey Lock and Euan Mackenzie played their last home doubles match together, winning 6-3.
In singles, the Blue & Gold went up 2-0 after the Pride did not fill the sixth singles spot.
Federico Garbero cruised to a win 6-2, 6-0 in second singles.
Euan Mackenzie clinched the match for UD in the third spot at 6-3, 6-3.
