Men’s Basketball Concludes Season in Loss to LA Tech on Senior Day

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware men's basketball concluded the 2025-26 season Saturday afternoon in the Bob Carpenter Center with an 81-38 loss to LA Tech. The Fightin' Blue Hens finish the campaign 10-21 overall and 6-14 in CUSA action, while the Bulldogs move to 18-13, 11-9 CUSA.

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Christian Bliss finished with 13 points to set the program's rookie record in scoring with 518 points to pass Ryan Daly who set the mark in 2016-17. Bliss also concludes the year with the program's rookie record in scoring average (16.7), minutes (1,233), free throws made (139), and free throw attempts (164).
Macon Emory also tallied 13 points in the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The visitors claimed eight of the first 12 points of the game to hold an 8-4 advantage at the first media break at the 14:00 mark. LA Tech ballooned the lead to 22-12 at the under-eight media stoppage at 7:37. The Bulldogs continued to build their lead and took a 40-22 score into the locker room.
LA Tech used a 24-2 run over a 7:25 span to push the difference to 68-33 up to the 9:47 point in the second half. The Bulldogs finished the game allowing just five more points.
