HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Fightin' Blue Hens took to the river early, racing the semifinal round before the clock struck 8:00 a.m.
- The Varsity 4+ was able to capture a fourth-place finish at 8:00.61.
- The 2V8+ took second at 7:25.97, qualifying for the grand final.
- To start finals, the freshman/novice 4+ placed fifth at 9:00.59.
- In the 2V4+ petite final, the Blue & Gold finished in fifth place at 8:45.35, ahead of West Virginia.
- In the Varsity 4+ second final, Delaware grabbed a second-place spot at 8:31.01.
- For the 2v8+ in the grand final, UD placed fifth at 7:07.06.
- In the final race of the day, the Varsity 8+ third final, the Hens took second at 6:56.49, finishing above MAC foe Eastern Michigan.
